On August 3, 2026, Kira Shuban, Head of the Student Senate of Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics, took part in a meeting of active youth representatives of the Kharkiv region with members of the Youth Council under the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
During the event, participants discussed current issues related to the development of youth policy, cooperation between young people and public authorities, and opportunities for increasing youth involvement in decision-making processes.
Special attention was given to the presentation of the “Youth Policy Hub: Ecosystem of Capacity Building and Strategic Leadership” initiative, which aims to strengthen youth participation in the development of public policy, foster leadership skills, and create effective mechanisms for cooperation.
Such meetings serve as an important platform for exchanging experience, establishing partnerships, and promoting the further development of student self-government. The participation of NURE representatives in initiatives of this kind contributes to expanding opportunities for students and encouraging their active involvement in public life and nation-building processes.
