On 24 August, Ukraine celebrates Independence Day – a day that today carries a particularly profound meaning and an exceptionally high price. During the full-scale war, independence has become a daily struggle, a responsibility, an expression of resilience and faith in our state.
Despite Russian aggression, attacks and losses, Ukraine continues to live, work, educate, conduct research and build its future. This ability to endure, preserve statehood and freedom, and sustain education, science and human potential is one of the clearest manifestations of the strength of Ukrainian society.
Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics, together with Kharkiv and the whole country, is facing the challenges of wartime. The University community continues its educational and research activities, supports students and staff, develops technologies, strengthens international cooperation and implements projects essential for Ukraine’s recovery and future development.
The resilience of NURE is part of the resilience of Ukrainian education. The resilience of Ukrainian education is part of the resilience of the state itself. Even in the most difficult times, the University remains a space for knowledge, engineering, research and the preparation of a generation that will rebuild and technologically strengthen Ukraine.
Today, we express our gratitude to the Defenders of Ukraine, thanks to whom we are able to work, teach and study. We honour the memory of all those who gave their lives for the freedom and independence of our country.
We wish the entire University community strength, endurance, unity and confidence in the future.
Happy Independence Day of Ukraine!
For a free Ukraine. For its future. For the right to live, study, work and create on our own land.
Glory to Ukraine!
