Exhibition “Terra Kosaccorum”

14.04.2025

The exhibition “Terra Kosaccorum” has opened at NURE Museum. The project aims to use the language of art to tell about the genetic code of Ukrainians, passed down from freedom-loving Cossack great-grandfathers, whose baton was taken over by modern warrior heroes. This art project has symbolised how culture and art can be a powerful tool for uniting the nation, maintaining morale and preserving national identity.

The ideological inspiration behind the exhibition is Honoured Journalist of Ukraine, volunteer Tatiana Babina.

The history of the Cossacks is a source of honour and dignity, courage and glory. This inspires every Ukrainian to work to revive the nation, spirituality and culture. The exhibition reveals the history of the Cossacks and knighthood of that era, captured in songs, legends, poetry, aphorisms, and paintings by artists.

The exhibition presents paintings by contemporary authors about the unity of the Cossack spirit with the heroism of modern Ukrainian Heroes.

Part of the exhibition is a video-art story dedicated to the unique virtues of Ukrainian Cossack characters, who can use supernatural abilities in battles with enemies.

Entrance is free.
