European digital literacy week

In the framework of All Digital Week 2021 https://osvita.diia.gov.ua/all-digital-weekemployees took part in the online conference “Key skills for sustainable development and ICT” – Skills for Sustainable Future and ICT, panel discussion Women in Science and Technology and a master class on “Effective Google Solutions for Optimizing the Online Education Process.

All Digital Week – European Digital Literacy Week – an annual information campaign dedicated to developing citizens’ digital skills.

Conference:

The use of ICT in the learning process increases the opportunities for setting educational goals and managing the process of solving them. ICT allows to change the control over the activities of students, while providing flexibility in the management of the educational process.
Online conference program:
▪️ Skills for the future and the role of ICT: Angelica Dedopoulou, Senior EU Manager, Huawei EU ;
▪️ Distance and blended learning for math and critical thinking: Natalia Limonova, founder of the Global Innovative Online School (GIOS) , member of the board of the STEM coalition, international partner for Ukraine of the World Investment Forum of Business Angels (WBAF); Iryna Dasyuk, student of the Institute of International Relations of Kyiv National University;
▪️ Digital inclusion and technologies for all: Olena Vvedenska, librarian of Vinnytsia Regional Library.
Organizers: Huawei Ukraine, Global Innovative Internet School (GIOS).
Discussion: 

Discussions focused on how to develop digital skills and where they will be needed, women’s career prospects in IT and technology, what conditions are needed to engage women in research and business in the IT industry.

A master class

A master class from a certified Google trainer on basic online tools provided an opportunity to improve your knowledge of the most important digital tools that help educators work, and without which it is extremely difficult to set up an effective process during distance education.
