Research directions
- research of technology and equipment for printing and post-printing processes;
- development of methods for assessing the quality of printed products;
- research of technological operations of operational and special types of printing;
- research and improvement of prepress technologies for various types of printing (flexo, gravure, high);
- research of methods and means of ensuring color stability during flexographic printing;
- research and development of methods for improving digital technologies for the manufacture of photopolymer printing;
- study of the features of the implementation of color management systems in different industries;
- implementation of the results of laboratory activities in the educational process.
Current tasks
- improvement of the quality management system in the production of printed products of PJSC HCF “Globus”;
- research of the color management system at the “Factor-printing” enterprise;
- research of the peculiarities of color reproduction at the enterprise LLC “Nargus”;
- development of a methodology for the selection of flexographic forms for printing on non-absorbent materials;
- research of the quality of large-format printing on various materials.
Connection with the educational process
The educational program, according to which students are trained in the laboratory at the first (bachelor’s) level of higher education – Publishing and printing business. Educational programs, according to which students are trained in the laboratory for the second (master’s) level of higher education: technologies of printed publications, technologies of electronic multimedia publications, computer technologies and systems of publishing and printing industries.

Participation in competitions of student research papers:
- All-Ukrainian competition of student scientific works in the specialty 186 “Publishing and Printing”;
- All-Ukrainian open competition of student research papers “Youth and Printing” in the direction “Technology of printing production, photographic and printing materials, computer processing of text and graphic information”.
Holding an international scientific-practical conference “Printing, multimedia and web technologies”. Within the framework of the conference, a Youth School-seminar and a videoconference with the University of Guanajuata (Mexico) were held. As a result of the conference, 2 collections of abstracts were published and a monograph was published with the assignment of digital identifiers DOI with the prefix NURE
