Department of MST establishes creative contacts with Rhapsody Academy (Poland)

For many years the Department of Media Systems and Technologies of the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics cooperates with different international partners. One of them is Polish company Rhapsody Academy, which performs development and design of web-sites, UI/UX interfaces, commercials. In this difficult time for our country, Polish colleagues offered a series of open classes to students of specialty 186 Publishing and Printing.

The topics of the lessons offered to students are studied as part of their professional training in specialty 186 Publishing and Polygraphy, cause genuine interest and have a practical implementation:

What Makes Web Design WORK (trainer: Agata Jawor),
How to Code a Website (trainer: Radosław Tomaszewski),
Introduction to motion design (trainer: Karolina Żak),
Create Your Design System (trainer: Alina Ostrapciuc

The lectures are conducted by leading Rhapsody Academy specialists in English. They first present theoretical material and consider interesting practical ideas related to professional activities. Each lecture ends with a practical assignment. Students present their developments and tell about their features. Polish colleagues are attentive to each student project, giving their recommendations and suggestions.

During August, every Friday, students and professors of the MST Department gather for a distance learning session and participate in a joint project with their Polish counterparts. There are already leaders among students who have proved with their knowledge and interesting ideas, who can represent the university and the department in various international design projects.
The joint project of the Department of MST NURE and Rhapsody Academy is an international experience, communication with artists, integration into the European creative community, and in the future the opportunity to work in a creative team.
