NURE policies in the field of ensuring environmental sustainability

NURE regularly monitors the sources of pollutant emissions, including greenhouse gases, into the atmosphere. The controlling body is the Department of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration.
According to the Resolution Ukraine Cabinet of Ministers № 1598 dated 29.11.2011 “On Approval the List of the Most Common and Hazardous Pollutants, Emissions of which into the Atmosphere are Subject to Regulation”, the ingredients are nitrogen oxides (nitrogen oxide and nitrogen dioxide) in terms of nitrogen dioxide, carbon oxide, acrolein, substances in the form of suspended solid particles of undifferentiated composition (abrasive metal dust), manganese and its compounds in terms of manganese dioxide, iron and its compounds (in terms of iron) are subject to regulation.
The control activities are carried out in accordance with the current instructions and methodological documents (KND 211.2.3.063-98 “Metrological support. Sampling of industrial emissions. Instruction”, methods for measuring the content of pollutants in organised emissions from stationary sources). The monitoring results of air pollutant emissions from stationary sources Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics are documented.
