On October 25-26, the II International Conference “Manufacturing & MECHATRONIC SYSTEMS 2018” was held at KNURE.
The organizers of the conference were: Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, KNURE, Warsaw University of Agriculture (WULS – SGGW), Lviv Polytechnic National University, Festo Didactic, Scientific Production Enterprise UKRINTECH, Azerbaijan State University of Oil and Industry, State Enterprise “Kharkiv Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering”, State Enterprise “Southern State Design and Research Institute of Aviation Industry”.
For 2 consecutive years the conference is provided by the Department of CITAM at the Faculty of Automation and of Computerized Technologies.
During the opening ceremony of the event, the participators were greeted by the chairman of the program committee, the head of CITAM Dept. Nevlyudov I.Sh., Vice-rector for international cooperation Omarov M.A. and the Dean of the ACT Faculty Filipenko OI, who noted that the main task of the scientific meeting is to supply the effective communication and exchange of information between scientists and experts, to discuss the prospects of the modern industrial technologies development, as well as to promote the projects aimed to their implementation.
Further, the conference continued in the form of a plenary meeting, at which among the speakers were: Kosenko V., Maleeva O., Yakubovskaya S., Dorokhina A., Popova O., Demchenko S., Yevseyev V., Tsymbal O., after which the sessions of scientific sections began as to the approved procedure of work.
The participants of the conference in their speeches touched upon many urgent issues of the development of technologies and means of production and mechatronic systems, best practices and their implementation in the fields of industrial automation and production management.
The conference was attended by scientists from the Polissya State University (Republic of Belarus) and representatives of 15 institutions of higher education and research of Ukraine. For the first time, the representatives of the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (Azərbaycan Dövlət Neft və Sənaye Universiteti – ADNSU) – Rasim Rahimov and Mammad Mammadzada have presented the Faculty of Information Technology and Management and the developer company Atenau Ltd.
All the days of the event were filled with live scientific discussions. As to the results of the review, 35 works were approved for participation in the conference. They were distributed according to the branch directions:
- industrial automation and production management systems;
- systems engineering;
- CAD/CAM/CAE systems;
- mechatronics (electrical and mechanical systems, electronic control tools, mechanical CAD systems);
- Robotics and means of intellectualization;
- MEMS (modern materials and manufacturing technologies);
- components and technologies for the automation of oil, gas extraction, processing and transportation.
