CTDL had been founded in 2001 as university department. The center is subordinate to the rector and first vice-rector directly. The center includes the multimedia lecture hall (334 room) and the Test Center (off. 322 – 323).
The main aims of the center are:
participation in single education space formation;
implementation of innovative educational computer and telecommunication methodologies;
design of multimedia technologies for education resources production (distant education courses development and their expertise and certification;
development of computer knowledge test system OpenTest).
There are several web-sites for distant education on retraining, correspondence education, individual student work.
Collaboration
CTDL carries out a distant education project by financial and organizational support of AHMAD TEA London. The main objective of the project is distant education in computer science and English for pupils of public institution «Novovodolaga comprehensive sanatorium boarding school».
