The National Agency for quality assurance in higher education began a new process of accreditation of educational programs, which is built on a modern template education, European standards and best practices of European universities. This process involved representatives from equal education (scientific-pedagogical and scientific workers), students, and business/production.
One of the stages is the evaluation of the programme independent expert group, which consists of two scientific-pedagogical and scientific workers and one representative of applicants to higher education. As at the end of 2019 roster of experts consisted of 383 the experts-students who have been trained and some of them took part in the accreditation. This amount is not sufficient for accreditation in different specialties and different levels of education therefore the selection continues.
We invite applicants education: undergraduate and graduate students to join these educational innovations. We invite you to become an expert on accreditation of educational programs, expert : improvement of higher education, expert of the practices of other institutions and responsible participant of the educational environment.
How to become an expert on accreditation of educational programs:
- To submit your form (online Google form);
- To successfully pass the test after studying the necessary documents and prologomenon online course (3 hours) on the process and criteria for accreditation;
- Come full-time two-day training workshop and successfully pass a test;
- After inclusion in the roster of experts to enter into a contract with the Agency.
What the expert gets:
- The voice of the students in the evaluation and improvement of higher education;
- Training on evaluation of educational programs and awareness of the rights/roles of students;
- Monitoring the experiences of other institutions, including to improve their;
- The fee for one accredited size 7-9 thousand UAH on hand and expenses ; trips (the number of invitations for accreditation depends on the applications call for certain: by specialty, the average expert performs 3-4 accreditation for one year);
- Acquaintance and communication with a passion for quality changes of students and teachers all over Ukraine;
- The opportunity to work as an expert student 1 year after graduation.
The stages of work of the expert, which is the National Agency:
- Learning self-assessment and accompanying documents, sent by the institution;
- Check out (as a rule. From the day), along with an expert panel to call for meetings and consultation call on possible improvements;
- Formulate a report of the expert group proposals for improving the quality of implementation of the educational program analysis for compliance with this program all the criteria set forth in the regulations on accreditation of educational programs.
