On February 25, 2025, the project executors of АІ Skills Alliance – ARISA, in which Ukraine is exclusively represented by the AI Department of Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics (NURE), met in a webinar to summarise the previous year’s results https://aiskills.eu/event/arisa-alliance-virtual-meet-up/.
The primary discussion focused on the developed strategy for addressing skill gaps in training specialists with in-demand AI skills, presented by Dr. Ran Zhang (Utrecht University of Applied Science, NL). The need to update this strategy every six months or annually was also emphasised.
Monika Song (ASIIN, GE) provided a detailed overview of the opportunity for project consortium members to obtain a QA Lable from ASIIN, the German QA Agency for technical, engineering, and natural sciences study programmes, through a shortened procedure.
Miriam Lanzetta (Italian company Lasco), a representative of another project AI4YouthWork, shared valuable insights on targeting AI skills for non-IT professionals. The analytical report Artificial Intelligence Competence Needs for Youth Workers could be useful for developing reskilling programs within lifelong learning initiatives.
Plans for the current year, 2025, include active piloting of the developed programmes and holding numerous events for capacity-building of the project alliance.
