A unified state qualification exam was held in NURE

The approbation of USQE in the speciality 125 Cybersecurity was held on 16 May 2023 for applicants for the first (bachelor’s) level of higher education.

The purpose of the USQE is to measure and evaluate the learning outcomes achieved by the student in accordance with the requirements of the higher education standard. The USE is based on the programme approved by the Ministry of Education and Science, has the form of computer-based testing, and will be conducted simultaneously in all educational institutions under the same rules and test materials.

At the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics, the exam was held in the presence of independent representatives in each classroom, with remote administration and video surveillance. Some applicants took the USQE at the State University of Telecommunications. The testing will be used to study the state of training of applicants in the speciality and prepare for the further implementation of the USQE in cybersecurity. The computer-based testing lasted 120 minutes, during which 27 applicants had to answer 100 test questions in the format of choosing one correct answer out of the four offered. During the air alert, the testing was suspended and continued after it was over, in accordance with the approved instructions for action in such cases.

In accordance with the Rector’s Order No. 87R dated 20.04.2023, the person responsible for conducting the USQE at NURE is the Dean of the Faculty of CEC Oleksii Liashenko, and the person responsible for ensuring the technical conditions is the Assistant Rector for IT Vitalii Tkachov.
