On July 17, an educational event dedicated to endoscopic methods of ENT organ examination was held at the head and neck surgery department of the Kharkiv Regional Council’s municipal non-profit enterprise “Regional Clinical Hospital.” as part of career guidance work among applicants and master classes for applicants to the educational program “Biomedical Engineering”.
A master class for students and applicants of the Department of Biomedical Engineering was held in the reception room, which was damaged by enemy shelling, by an otolaryngologist and a third-level (educational and scientific) higher education student of the Biomedical Engineering Department of KhNURE , as well as by the freelance chief otolaryngologist of the Kharkiv region, Mikhail Kalashnik, MD, PhD, associate professor.
The participation of prospective applicants in an educational event as part of the start of the admission campaign at NURE and the conduct of career guidance work among applicants contributes to the formation of an understanding of the educational and scientific components of specialty 163 – Biomedical Engineering.
Holding such an educational event is in line with the achievement of the UN’s 3rd Sustainable Development Goal – Good Health and Well-being, as ensuring a healthy lifestyle and promoting well-being at any age are important for achieving sustainable development.
