On September 28, a regional dialogue on cybersecurity was held at the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics as part of the USAID Cyber Security of Ukraine’s Critical Infrastructure project.
The event was greeted by the Rector of NURE, Professor Valerii Sements, who said: “Today we are talking about a very important topic – cybersecurity as part of the digital transformation is both a challenge and an opportunity for development at the same time.”
During the meeting, the parties, led by Timothy Dubel, Director of the USAID Critical Infrastructure Cyber Security Project, discussed state priorities for improving cybersecurity in the Kharkiv region, and discussed visions for future cooperation between critical infrastructure in Ukraine, private companies and higher education institutions.

It should be noted that in the spring NURE signed the memorandum of understanding for participation within the USAID project “Cybersecurity of a critical infrastructure of Ukraine”.
