A working meeting was held between the head of the department, Professor Oleg Avrunin, and the partners of the department – Dudenko Volodymyr Hryhorovych, head of the Department of Clinical Anatomy and Operative Surgery of the Kharkiv National Medical University, Volodymyr Oleksandrovich Pyatikop, neurosurgeon of the highest qualification category, doctor of medical sciences, professor, member of the European Association of Neurosurgeons (EANS), head of the Department of Neurosurgery of the Kharkiv National Medical University and associate professor, candidate of medical sciences Mykhailo Vasyliovych Kalashnyk, chief freelance specialist otorhinolaryngologist in the Kharkiv region.
The meeting discussed issues of academic cooperation: provision of quality education and support for successful student learning, organization of internships, development and improvement of educational programs, involvement of practicing specialists from partner companies to teach specialized courses.
The question of attracting funding for research and infrastructure of the department, participation in joint scientific projects, which can have practical application in the field of partners’ activities, was also considered.
Cooperation of the department with stakeholders is an important aspect of the development of educational and scientific activities. This cooperation helps to ensure the relevance of educational programs, prepare students for the challenges of the real world, contributes to the planning of scientific research and the dissemination of innovations, as well as the achievement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals at our university!
