Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics held its First-Year Student Day – a traditional celebration bringing together new students, their parents, academic staff and the University administration.
NURE Rector Ihor Ruban welcomed the first-year students as they began a new stage in their lives. He emphasised that NURE is more than a higher education institution — it is an environment where free individuals grow and highly qualified professionals are formed.
Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov also addressed the University community with words of welcome. He noted that NURE is one of the symbols of Kharkiv, with a history spanning almost a century, and continues to be one of the leaders of education in Kharkiv and Ukraine.
During the ceremony, first-year students learned more about the history of Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics, met members of the University administration and the deans of the faculties. A special moment of the celebration was the symbolic NURE student oath.
A new stage now begins for the first-year students – a time of learning, professional development, new friendships, opportunities and achievements.
