Research interests include structural synthesis of geographically distributed objects (GDO), mathematical modelling, multifactor assessment and decisions selection.
Scientific and technical achievements: methodology of multifactor structural and topological synthesis of geographically distributed systems of transport, communication, monitoring, control; computational methods and procedures for solving problems of structural and topological synthesis of GDO; conceptual formalized description of GDO and objectives of their creation, taking into account factors that reflect the topology of elements, ties and objects operation technology; decomposition scheme of the GDO synthesis problem in the complex tasks of meta-, macro-, micro-level by their description granularity and stages of their life cycles; linear and iteration logic circuits of GDO system design; mathematical model and a method for solving reengineering problem of the centralized structures of GDO; methods of preliminary cost estimates for creation and operation of regularly and randomly geographically distributed elements; method of forming an approximate area of compromise for convex sets of alternatives; development of the method for comparatory identification of weighting coefficients of designs multifactor selection models; methods of solving problems of structural synthesis for objects with circular and radial-ring structures.
