According to the results of the July issue of the Cybermetrics Lab the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics retained the 9th place among 315 Ukrainian higher education institutions.
Webometrics (Webometrics Ranking of World Universities) is the largest academic ranking of higher education institutions, which analyzes the presence of universities in the Internet space, including scientific publications, evaluates the content and popularity of university websites. In total, the ranking covers more than 31 thousand universities and educational institutions from all around the world. In the world ranking NURE ranks 2496 position in comparison with January – 2667.
The following parameters were used for the July version of 2021:
Impact – a combination of the number of external links to the university domain and the number of domains from which these links come according to Ahrefs and Majestic (50%);
Openness – the number of citations of the 210 best authors (except the first 20) according to the Google Scholar search engine (10%);
Excellence – the number of scientific articles published by the authors of the university in journals indexed by the scientometric database Scopus, and are part of the 10% of articles most cited in 27 scientific fields, according to Scimago (40%).
Thanks to the publishing activity of scientists of the University of Radio Electronics, NURE ranks 5th in Excellence and 9th in Openness.
Among Kharkiv universities, the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics closes the top three.
