Journey Guide for NURE Students for Participation in the Competitive Selection for the Program ERASMUS+

The objectives of the ERASMUS+ programme and the conditions for international mobility are stipulated in the “Erasmus Student Charter”.
The selection criteria recommended by the “Erasmus+ ICM Handbook” envisages academic performance, lack of the previous experience in academic mobility, less advantaged socio-economic backgrounds, etc. and are determined jointly by the host and home universities.

The selection procedure of the candidates is conducted on a competitive basis with publishing its terms and conditions on the university’s website.
The generally accepted practice envisages analyzing CVs and Motivation Letters of the candidates and interviewing them by the Commission of the home university while the final decision should be taken by the host university.

You can get information on opportunities of short-term education during 1-2 semesters in EU partner institutions within implementing mobility projects by contacting the NURE International Office and coordinators of the graduating departments.

Keep in mind that Nomination period in European Universities – April 23 – for the Fall semester and Full Academic year November 23 – for the Spring semester.

That is why the participation in the competitive selection for the Program ERASMUS+ in NURE usually starts from 1.04 till 15.05 for the Fall semester and from 01.11 till 15.11 for the Spring semester.

Upload your English Language Certificate (not less than B2 level) in your folder in domein «nure» (the folders with your names will be available after promotions on official site nure about the beginning of accepting applications for competitive selection for the program Erasmus+, in case you will fill in information about yourself and your contacts in the table which will be in promotion). – IELTS (International English Language Testing System).

Allows you to determine the level and skills of English in people for whom it is not native.

IELTS is the most requested English language test for study and immigration to the UK, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.

IELTS is owned by three organizations:

  • Cambridge ESOL Examinations.
  • The British Council.
  • IDP: IELTS Australia.

There are three versions of the test:

  • Academic IELTS (academic version).
  • General Training IELTS (general version).
  • IELTS Life Skills.

The Academic IELTS certificate is used for admission to schools, colleges and universities in the UK, Canada, Australia, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, the USA and other countries where the teaching is conducted in English.

900 test centres in 130 countries organize and conduct IELTS. Academic IELTS is held 48 times a year. General – 24 times a year. The cost of the exam and specific test dates vary depending on the location and pricing policy of each centre.

The IELTS score is scored on a scale of 0 to 9.

The candidate finds out his result online and / or receives it at the test centre on the 13th day after passing. The certificate includes an assessment in four test modules:

  • Listening (listening skills);
  • Reading (reading skills);
  • Writing (written English skills);
  • Speaking (speaking English skills)

and overall score (Overall Score Band).

The test result is valid for two years from the date of receipt.

–TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language), The  TOEFL certification is the most widely used test of English in the world, recognized by more than 9,000 colleges, universities and agencies in more than 130 countries including Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom and United States.

  1. Upload your Motivation Letter in your folder. Motivation letter should be in English.

  1. Upload your Recommendation letter from the Dean of your faculty in your folder. Recommendation letter should be in English.

  1. Upload your Academic Records (a document signed by the dean of the faculty and the stamped of the faculty).

Pay attention, that Average score of Academic Records should be not less than 75.

If you are a Master student, upload your Bachelor`s Degree. Average score of your Bachelor`s Degree should be not less than 75.
