Times Higher Education Assessed the Contribution of NURE to Achieving the Sustainable Development Goals

For the second year in a row, the influential British newspaper Times Higher Education (THE) publishes the university rankings of THE University Impact Rankings.

The results of the rating reflect the performance of universities in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals defined by the UN for the period up to 2030.

THE experts try to evaluate the third mission of universities, considering the university as an open system, to determine how the university is integrated into social life, into the social environment, how developed its partnerships, what ecosystem it forms around itself.

This year, the rating methodology has been slightly improved and more attention has been paid to research on the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals, including the provision of quality education, including inclusive and lifelong learning, good health and well-being, commitment to gender equality and non-discrimination, creation of decent working conditions and economic growth, introduction of innovations, participation in solving environmental problems, in local and state governance.

According to the rating, Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics https://www.timeshighereducation.com/world-university-rankings/kharkiv-national-university-radio-electronics is ranked 601+ among 766 universities from 85 countries that have been audited by THE. In total, the rating includes 10 Ukrainian universities.
