The Software Engineering Department of the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics invites schoolchildren of 9-11 grades to free courses to get acquainted with the speciality “Software Engineering”.
Every academic year the PE Department organizes an IT-circle for schoolchildren. Last school year, difficult for all Ukrainians, was no exception, teachers of the Department held classes in a remote format on the following disciplines: Basics of Computer and Network Architecture (assistant professor A.A. Samantsov); Introduction to Speciality (assistant professor V.V. Golyan); Introduction to IT Business (N.V. Golyan); Programming in C# (senior lecturer Yu.Yu. Cherepanova); Basics of Python programming (senior lecturer V.M. Lyapota); Linux Architecture (senior lecturer I.P. Sokorchuk). After the end of the main course, everyone could attend another course on Linux architecture, which was held this summer by a Senior Lecturer of the PE Department I.P. Sokorchuk.
The workshop has been held for many years and Sigma Software has been the invariable partner of the PI department for all these years. We thank the representatives of the company for a long-term cooperation, the result of which is the support of school students in the Olympiads, clubs, competitions in computer science and sports programming. This year also more than 20 students have received diplomas, certificates and memorable prizes from the partner.
