On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the Zbarazh Lyceum, Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics was awarded a commemorative award for the friendly relations of the collectives of educational institutions.
Friendly relations began to form back in March 2022, when, with the assistance of the leadership of the city of Zbarazh and the Head of the Zbarazh Lyceum Natalia Salamaniuk, teachers and students of our university who lost their homes due to Russian aggression against Ukraine and evacuated found temporary shelter on the basis of the educational building. The lyceum provided all conditions for accommodation and remote work of our employees. Students were able to continue their studies remotely. By the order of the University, the Dean of the CEC Faculty Oleksiy Lyashenko was appointed as the coordinator of the evacuation.
“We are very pleased that the unity of the East and West of Ukraine is expressed primarily in support of people affected by the attack on Ukraine by Russia. This award is a proof of the unity of our people and the well-known thesis “friends in need are friends” – Oleksiy Lyashenko said while receiving the award.
The administration of NURE represented by the Acting Rector Ihor Ruban thanks the staff of the Zbarazh Lyceum for the opportunities provided for our colleagues and congratulates on the 60th anniversary of the establishment of the educational institution!
