Head of the Department of Biomedical Engineering of the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics Professor Oleg Avrunin took part in the meeting of the Scientific and Methodological Commission of the Ministry of Education of Ukraine on engineering. During the work, the issues of state certification of higher education institutions and relevant indicators of the quality of training of applicants, as well as changes in the system of financing of higher education were discussed. The strategic goals of Higher education in Ukraine for the next five years, in particular the introduction of specific opportunities for autonomy of universities, are highlighted.
In addition, it was a question of a new order of professional development of scientific and pedagogical personnel and an increase in teachers ‘ salaries twice from the average, as well as changes to the classifier of professions in order to bring them into line with modern conditions.
During the meeting, it was decided that in 2020 there will be no significant changes regarding the rules of the entrance campaign to the first educational level of higher education-bachelor. They are only possible from 2021.
