Students and teachers of KNURE received new opportunities for academic exchanges and internships

Year of 2018 became was very fruitful for KNURE in the field of expanding of international cooperation: our university has got new partners in France, Germany, Estonia, Israel, Mexico, Poland.

And the last days of this year have brought us another good news: considering our achievements in implementation of joint projects, our French partners – the University of Limoges and the School of Engineering ENCIL-ENSCI – have offered us to expand the range of areas of cooperation, which means new opportunities for students as well as administrative and academic staff.

From now on, in accordance with the agreement signed by the rector Valery Semenets, new, opportunities for students of KNURE will be available, namely:

  • Academic exchanges under the “International Semester” program – studying for a semester in English at the University of Limoges in the areas of Telecommunications and Radio Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Engineering;
  • “classical academic semester” – studying during the semester in French in the fields of “Electronics and Telecommunications” and “Mechatronics”;
  • internship in a partner university on topics that will be approved personally.

It is also important that, in accordance with the agreement with the University of Limoges, the students, who take part in such exchanges and internships, are fully exempted from tuition fees, entrance and/or registration fees.

Specialists of the International Department of KNURE are currently working on the details launching full-time programs of double master diploma in the field of “Photonics”, “Radio Engineering” and “Applied Mathematics”.

With regard to the teaching and administrative staff of both universities, they will receive additional opportunities for participation in exchange programs, in particular teaching subjects in English or in the language of the host party.

The renewed agreement was signed by the rector of KNURE on December 31 and will be valid for 5 years.
