On October 30, in Copenhagen, a team of students of the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics “Sounce” will take part in the final of Startup University World Cup 2019, where they will present their own universal application that allows you to translate sign language.
Development, a concept which is under the scientific leadership of Alexey Turuta arose from the NURE students Stepan Titarenko, Sergey Pilipenko, Anna Vashevo, Valentine Yukhimenko and Elvira Isaeva during AI Hackathon 2019, represents the possibility of translation of sign language thanks to a special algorithm that processes a video with gestures and translates them into user-friendly apps the result.
