Research activities

Scientific works concern the physics of interstellar and intergalactic media, atomic spectroscopy, the creation of methods and apparatus for highly sensitive radio astronomy observations. Using the decameter band radio telescope, UTR-2 first discovered the radiation of excited carbon atoms in outer space and developed a model of the physical state of the interstellar medium.
