Educational activity

Teaches educational courses: Fundamentals of scientific research in telecommunications and radio engineering; Automation of network infrastructure administration; Mobile communication networks.
Manages qualification works Masters.

Research activities

The main directions of scientific activity:

  • information and analytical activities for the collection, analysis and generalization of information about radio monitoring objects, radio electronic devices and their radio emissions;
  • theory and technology of receiving and processing of signal information in conditions of a priori uncertainty;
  • principles, methods and technical ways of creating promising systems and means of radio monitoring and radio countermeasures;
  • complex processing signal and coordinate information about the radio-electronic-object situation;
  • evaluation of the еffectiveness of systems and means of radio monitoring of the radio-electronic-object environment;
  • using of radio frequency resource and electromagnetic compatibility of radio electronic means.

In these directions, under the guidance and with the direct participation of the author, the following results were obtained:

  • broadband devices for panoramic reception and time-frequency analysis of unknown signals were developed (1979-1987);
  • developed highly effective devices and systems for the formation of active aiming obstacles (1985-1992);
  • substantiated main directions of development of RCM and EW in Armament Programs (1993-2004);
  • the expert system of the modeling integrated assessment of the electromagnetic-object environment (2001-2007);
  • the “RESOURCE” information and analytical system was created to support decision-making on the planning and use of the country’s radio frequency resource (2006-2010);
  • a methodological apparatus was developed and measurements of the main characteristics and parameters of the existing reception devices were carried out radio control stations of the type AIK-SP, AIK-SP6 and UMS-100 (2011);
  • IT-technology (methodology, knowledge base, database) for the estimation of the functioning effectiveness of nationality radio-frequency monitoring systems (2010-2012);
  • IT-technology of decision-making support was created at planning systems and conducting radio-frequency monitoring of electromagnetic-object environment
    (2012-2014);
  • created IT technology for complex recognition of radio-emitting objects in conditions of a priori uncertainty using methods of statistical radio engineering and artificial intelligence (2015-2017).

The effectiveness of all developments has been officially confirmed by acts of implementation, military, range and departmental tests, including during the performance of experimental combat tasks on the Central European Defense Forces (7 times) and long-distance sea campaigns on the Pacific Defense Forces (3 times).
The experience of scientific activity is more than 40 years. Participated in tests of new samples of weapons and military equipment at the Balkhash, Donguz training grounds and at the Kapustyn Yar training ground of the former USSR. Prepared 4 candidates of sciences. During scientific and scientific-technical activity at KhNURE, he was the scientific director of 7 state-budget and 10 economic-contractual scientific-research works (SRW)
