Research activities
His scientific work deals with the theory of electromagnetic wave diffraction, the theory of antenna systems, microwave generators, the development of radio systems and millimeter-range radio telescopes.
He developed the concept of using the operator of reflection of semi-infinite structures in the theory of wave diffraction on multilayer periodic structures, created a number of fundamentally new quasi-optical elements and systems of millimeter and submillimeter ranges.
