On February 14, the Second University-School Scientific and Practical Conference “First Steps in Science – from Theory to Practice 2020” took place.
The event was organized by scientists of the Faculty of Electronic and Biomedical Engineering of Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics together with teachers of secondary schools of the city. As a part of the conference, a career guidance event was held, where teachers of the departments of DMEDA, BME and PFEE demonstrated modern equipment and conducted interesting blitz-studies with students.
Students of nine secondary schools of Kharkiv took part in the conference. Young scientists presented the results of their theoretical and experimental research in the fields of “Information technology, mathematical modeling and programming”, “Chemistry, physics, biology – natural science in a modern way” and “Innovative teaching methods”
Scientific works were noted: in the nomination “For the best presentation of research results” students of 10-A class of secondary school № 31 Kostiv Anna Andreevna for research work “Peculiarities of the behavior of a sphere in multidimensional space”; in the nomination “For the originality of scientific work” pupil of 6-A class of secondary school № 143 Avramenko Yegor Dmitrovich for research work “Development of computer games on Unity”; in the nomination “For the best experimental work” a pupil of 9-A class of secondary school № 143 Kalmykov Roman Alexandrovich and a pupil of 10-A class of secondary school № 127 Sukha Anastasia Igorevna for research work “Possibilities of spatial acoustic analysis”; in the nomination “For the best theoretical work” of the pupil of 11-A class of secondary school 139 Eroshenko Oleksiy Yuriyovych for research work “Approximation of tabular functions”; in the nomination “Audience Choice Award” pupil of 10-A class of secondary school 156 Pitenko Oleksiy Yevheniiovych for research work “Using chatbots of managers for the organization of Online-learning”.
