Professor of the V.V. Popovskyy Department of Infocommunication Engineering Yevdokymenko M.O., who is a member of the European Advisory Board of the International non-governmental organization Cyber Institute (USA), took part in the meeting of the United Nations Ad Hoc Committee.
The UN meeting was held at the Vienna International Centre (Austria), the third headquarters of the UN.
During the meeting of the committee the International Convention on combating the use of information and communication technologies for criminal purposes was considered. This convention is extremely important, especially in times of cyber warfare in the information space of Ukraine and European countries.
