On 11 September, the heart of Yurii Machekhin, Professor of the Department of Physical Foundations of Electronic Engineering, member of the Scientific and Technical Council, Doctor of Technical Sciences, stopped beating.
In 1971, Yurii Pavlovych graduated from the Kharkiv Institute of Radio Electronics, in 1981 he defended his PhD thesis and received the title of Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences.
In 2006, Yurii Machekhin became the Head of the Department of Physical Foundations of Electronic Engineering, and in 2012, he was appointed a Professor of the Department.
During his career, Yurii Machekhin has authored more than 400 publications, including 7 monographs and 16 patents.
