Professor of the Department of Biomedical Engineering NURE Ekaterina Muzyka reached the final of the competition for the Ukrainian L’Oréal-UNESCO Prize “For Women in Science”!

The L’Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science Award https://www.forwomeninscience.in.ua aims to strengthen the position of women in science, maintain scientific excellence and help talented women scientists gain the recognition they deserve. The award has been implemented in Ukraine for the fourth year in a row.

The program is attended by women who are professionally engaged in scientific research in the field of STEM: science, technology, engineering and mathematics and have an impeccable scientific reputation.
From April 1 to July 1, 2021, the collection of applications continued. In three months, 172 applications were submitted from women scientists from 25 cities of Ukraine, 99 institutions of higher education and 29 institutes of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. Among the participants there are 115 candidates of sciences and 52 doctors of sciences.
Professor Ekaterina Muzyka entered the top ten finalists out of 172 participants!
