International scientific conference “Information security: problems and prospects” organized by Azerbaijan University together with the Kharkiv National University of Radioelectronics began its work on November 25, 2022 in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan. At the plenary section of the conference, the following reports were heard, co-authored by members of the V.V. Popovskyy ICE Department:
CYBER SECURITY EDUCATION: CHALLENGES AND PROSPECTS. Murad Omarov, Maryna Yevdokymenko.
SECURITY-BASED ROUTING MODELS WITH TRAFFIC ENGINEERING SUPPORT. Oleksandr Lemeshko, Oleksandra Yeremenko, Maryna Yevdokymenko, Volodymyr Porokhniak.
The first report was presented by Prof. Murad Omarov, vice-rector for international cooperation of NURE, who analyzed the state of cybersecurity training in Ukraine and NURE. The second report was presented by V.V. Popovskyy ICE Department Prof. Yevdokymenko M.O.. The theme of the report concerned the theoretical and applied aspects of network security by means of routing and load balancing. The reports aroused high interest among the participants of the conference.
The organizing committee of this conference, which is not the first, included many employees of NURE, among whom there are scientists from the V.V. Popovskyy Department of Infocommunication Engineering – Professors Yevdokymenko M.O., Yeremenko O.S., Radivilova T.A. and Lemeshko O.V.
