From October 2023 to May 2024, the Department of Software Engineering of NURE conducted online courses “Young IT-specialist” for students of grades 9-11.
During the course, students had the opportunity to listen and study the following disciplines:
Algorithms and data structures – teacher Babiy A.S.,
Databases – teacher Mazurova O.O.
Java language – teacher Kolesnikov D.O.
Python basics – teacher Lyapota V. M.
Fundamentals of game design – teacher Novikov Y.S.
Fundamentals of C# programming – teacher Cherepanova Y.
GoLang language – teacher Oliynyk O.V.
Security of programs and data – teacher Oliynyk O.O.
The “Young IT-Specialist” group has been operating on the basis of the Department of Software Engineering since 2016. These are free online courses to familiarize students with the specialty of Software Engineering. Classes are held every academic year and include several disciplines. Students who are unable to attend classes can follow the courses through video recordings of classes and do their homework.
Our regular partner is Sigma Software, which rewards the best students with memorable prizes, and this year was no exception.
In such difficult times for Ukraine, it is very important to encourage young people to learn and develop. It helps to keep them optimistic and channel their energy into useful activities that bring our country closer to a better future.
