On the Day of Memory of the Heavenly Hundred Heroes

21.02.2024

10 years have passed since the bloody events of the Revolution of Dignity. Today, we honor the memory of its Heroes, for whom the independence and freedom of Ukraine and its citizens were above all. One of those who tragically died on the Maidan in Kyiv was a graduate of NURE, Yevhen Kotlyar.
Yevhen was known for his active and conscious civic position, so he did not stay away from the events of Euromaidan in Kharkiv, and later went to Kyiv, where he was killed by bullets on February 20, 2014, becoming one of the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred.
Today, we remember Yevhen and all the Heroes of those events, as well as the defenders of our country who gave their lives in the fight against the Russian aggressor. They all shared the same goal and aspiration – to make Ukraine free and strong, worthy of a better future. And it is for this that they gave the most valuable thing they had – their lives.
Therefore, today’s Memorial Day is an occasion not only to remember the Heroes with gratitude, but also to continue their work, help the Armed Forces and unite for our common goal – Victory.
