Oleksandr Tsopa was elected IEEE Senior Member

At a recent SM Panel Meeting Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), Head of Radiotechnologies Information and Communication Systems Department, Oleksandr Tsopa was elected IEEE Senior Member.


The Admission & Advancement (A&A) Review Panels meet six times annually to review applications and/or nominations for election or elevation to Senior Member.
Senior Member is the highest grade for which IEEE members can apply. To be eligible for application or nomination, candidates must show significant performance for at least five years in professional practice. This honorary title is awarded for significant contributions to Computer Science and Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
IEEE is a non-profit association of professionals in electrical engineering, electronics, computer technology, and computer science. The IEEE publishes a third of the world’s technical literature on the use of radio electronics, computers, control systems, and electrical engineering. IEEE is a world leader in developing standards in electronics, radio electronics, telecommunications, and others.
IEEE primary purpose is the informational and material support of specialists for the organization and development of science in electrical engineering, electronics, computer technology, and informatics and the professional growth of IEEE members.
