On February 11, on the occasion of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, the grand opening of the photo exhibition Lady Science took place. Photos of young scientists of Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics were presented in the exhibition, which consisted of more than 130 photos of women scientists from 34 leading institutions of higher education, academic and industry research institutions.
The event was initiated by the Council of Young Scientists of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, supported by the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Innovation Park Unit. Kharkiv, SPIE, the Center for Gender Culture, the project of the European Union “Center for Gender Culture as a platform for women’s and youth empowerment.”
This is an important day in the history of equality of women and girls, the holiday was founded to preserve gender equality, empower and enable women and girls to have greater access to science.
