NURE will join the green transformation project of the UNITE!

At the initiative of the Wroclaw University of Science and Technology, the UNITE! project has invited seven Ukrainian universities to cooperate. They will implement the program “Green Transformation in Ukrainian Universities” funded by the National Agency for Academic Exchange.

The main goal of the project is to support the academic community of Ukraine by engaging partner institutions in regular activities within the framework of UNITE! Erasmus+, in the workspace “An Open Innovation Community for the Green Transition”.

As well as establishing permanent cooperation between Ukrainian universities and the UNITE! network. This association will contribute to the process of rebuilding Ukraine after the end of the military conflict and will be an important step in the process of integration with the European Union.

“Cooperation with the academic community of Ukraine is a great opportunity for the alliance, which is of great political importance,” said Andreas Winkler, General Secretary of UNITE! “Today’s meeting is also important because it will allow us to discuss a plan for cooperation and support in the field of ecology and green transformation, which will be key in the process of rebuilding Ukraine.

Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics will be represented by the Dean of the Faculty of Automation and Computerized Technologies (ACT), Professor Oleksandr Filipenko, Deputy Dean of the ACT Faculty, Professor Olena Tokareva, and Deputy Head of the Department of Health Protection, Associate Professor Hanna Pronyuk.
