Today, September 2, at the World Academic Summit, which is held online due to quarantine restrictions, 17 releases of the 2021 Times Higher Education World University Rankings
The British agency Times Higher Education was drawing on data points on almost 2,000 leading research universities in the world, more than 22,000 academic reputation survey responses, analyses 13.6 million scientific publications and more than 86 million citations over five years, based on bibliometric data from Elsevier. Universities are evaluated on 13 indicators, which include Teaching (the learning environment); Research (volume, income and reputation); Citations (research influence); International outlook (staff, students and research); and Industry income (knowledge transfer).
Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics for the first time overcame the barrier and was included in the ranking. We occupy a position in the 801-1000 group.
In total, this year the ranking covers 1527 educational institutions from 93 countries. Among Ukrainian universities NURE took third place.
