On April 13, on the basis of NTU “KPI”, the first stage of the All-Ukrainian programming Olympiad was held. 1102 teams from the higher and secondary educational institutions of Ukraine were represented, among them 33 teams from the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics, that was a record number among the teams of the Eastern region.
During the competition, the team of NURE “KhNURE_NRG”, represented by Andrey Shanin, Oleg Wallas, Matthew Aslanukov and their trainer, Associate Professor of the PE Department Alexander Vechur, solved all the tasks in the shortest time and took the absolute first place at the Olympics.
Also, the teams of the University of Radio Electronics took one second and three third places.
