On October 24, for the first time online, the annual international programming Olympiad Proggy-Buggy Contest 2020 from DataArt took place. More than 1000 participants from 16 countries took part in the competition (Argentina, Armenia, Greece, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Poland, Netherlands, France, Kazakhstan, Great Britain, USA, Belarus, Switzerland, Canada, Azerbaijan, Israel).
The team of Kharkiv University of Radio Electronics “Energy is not over”, consisting of Matvey Aslandukov (group SSHIm-20-2), Oleg Vallas (group IPZm-19-1) and Igor Barenblat (group PZPIZ-20-1), competed with 791 teams and won the second place! In addition, five more teams from the University of Radio Electronics took part in the Olympiad, the best of which took 12th place. There were 13 tasks, and the time was 42 minutes. The language of the Olympiad is English. The competition began immediately after the end of the five-hour Andersen Programming Contest 2020.
