Secretary of the Kharkiv City Council Igor Terekhov presented the Mayor’s Thanks to the students of the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics, who became bronze medalists of the Student Team Programming World Championship.
The NURE team consisting of Matviy Aslandukov, Oleg Wallas and Andriy Shanin, under the guidance of the trainer – associate professor of the University of Radio Electronics Oleksandr Vechur, took the third place at the most prestigious international programming tournament among students. More than 60,000 programmers from more than 3,000 universities from 115 countries took part in the first stage of the competition. 117 teams made it to the finals, the only Ukrainian representatives being the NURE team.
