October 3, on the site in front of the Kharkiv National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater named after N.V. Lysenko a strongman tournament “Student Hero of Kharkov 2020” took place.
The event was attended by students of Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics, candidates for masters of sports in powerlifting: Igor Lukienko, Vladimir Yasmenko and Vladislav Ivanov.
The coach of the team is Natalia Alexandrovna Didyuk, a senior lecturer at the PES Department.
The competition program included such strength exercises as:
– “Super-Yok” (distance 20 meters, rocker weighing 150 kg)
– “Timer Flip” (overturning of a wheel weighing 170 kg, 7 turns)
– “Log lift” (barbell weighing 50 kg)
– “Farmer’s walk” (distance 20 m, suitcases weighing 60 kg for each hand)
Our athletes successfully coped with all tasks.
