NURE students set a historical record at the International Programming Championship

Students of the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics participated in the International Open Programming Championship of the South Caucasus, which took place from November 30 to December 3 at Tbilisi University of Business and Technology and took more than 80 teams from different countries to participate in personal and team events.

Thus, according to the results of team competitions, students of the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics Andriy Shanin and Matvey Aslandukov won the absolute first place, and in the personal standings was also Matvey, who was ahead of more than 130 applicants for “gold”.

Also, the other NURE team of Anton Gavroshenko, Mikhail Plotnikov and Dmytro Rudenko, who were in the top three in the bronze place, also won awards.
It should be noted that such a result is unprecedented in the history of the championship.  For the first time during the 15 years of the competition, representatives of one team were able to win two first places at once, winning the personal and team championship
