NURE students have been trained in cybersecurity

Between April 30 and May 30, 2020, 330 students and entrants from Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics studied and received certificates of completion of the interactive online course “Basic rules of safety in the digital environment”, developed by CRDF Global, in collaboration with the company’s cybersecurity expert group.  EY in Ukraine and Technomatix technical experts, with the assistance of the US Department of State (European and Eurasian Aid Coordination Office).  CRDF Global (US Civilian Research and Development Foundation) is an independent non-profit organization dedicated to the development of security, protection and sustainability in the world through science and innovation.
The implementation of this course in NURE was due to the realization of the CRDF Global Cyber Security Development Project in Ukraine and the partnership with the NURE Department of Infocommunication Engineering named after V.V. Popovsky.  During this course, students and entrants were introduced to the basic rules of digital (cyber) security when working on the Internet, learned about the main threats in the digital space and gained knowledge on personal data protection, safe use of electronic devices and information resources.
