NURE students are in the top 3 best teams in the world

The final of the BubbleCup International Programming Championship, organized by Microsoft, took place on October 4 in Belgrade, Serbia.  The team of Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics “Energy is not over” consisting of Andriy Shanin (gr. IPZm-19-1), Igor Barenblat (gr. PZPIz-20-1) and Matviy Aslandukov (gr. Shim-20-2), led by associate professor of Software Engineering Department Oleksandr Vechur, improved their last year’s result, overtook the best teams of Ukraine and Russia and got into the top three.
It should be mentioned that BubbleCup is a prestigious international competition that allows Ukrainian students to compete with the strongest teams in the world.  In order to take part in the finals of the championship it was necessary to pass two rounds of selection, which lasted two months, to compete with the leading teams of Europe and the world and from the hundreds of the best teams it was necessary to get into the top 15 finalists.  In addition, the rules were tightened this year and only the top two teams from the country were able to enter the finals.
