Professor Oleh Avrunin took part in the implementation of the International Studio Doctoral Program of the European Union, the main coordinator of which is the Lublin University of Technology.
Within the framework of the program, research and certification of participating applicants for the award of the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) are conducted. Professor Oleh Avrunin participated in the program as an official opponent of the dissertation of Ulzhalgas Zhunisova, a candidate from the Republic of Kazakhstan. The topic of the work was aimed at improving classification methods in the diagnosis of COVID-19 diseases and is relevant for the development of information technology in biomedical engineering.
The invitation to the European University is an international recognition of the significance of research and evidence of the highest academic level of the scientist and is a contribution to the implementation of the Internationalization Strategy.
