The 4th IFIP Conference on Information Technology in Disaster Risk Reduction (ITDRR-2019) was held in Kyiv on October 9 and 10, 2019. The conference is organized with the support of the International Federation of Information Processing IFIP. Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics acted as co-organizer.
The topics of the conference cover a wide range of issues related to the creation and implementation of information technologies aimed at reducing the risks of natural and man-made emergencies. The selected articles will be published by Springer and indexed by Scopus. Scientists and leading experts from Japan, Norway, Italy, France, Indonesia, Bulgaria and Ukraine participated in the conference. Professor Yuko Murayama (Tsuda University, Tokyo, Japan) is the Honorary Chair of the conference. Co-chairs of the conference were prof. Igor Grebennik (NURE) and prof. Elena Chaikovska (KNUKIM).
The inauguration of the conference was attended by a member of the Program Committee of the Conference Rector of NURE Valerii Semenets, Yuko Murayama, Igor Grebennik.
