The Spanish Cybermetrics Lab has released the traditional July issue of Ranking Web of Universities.
The purpose of the Webometrics ranking is to increase the presence of universities on the Internet and promote the open publication of research results. To compile the rankings, the developers evaluated more than 31,000 educational institutions worldwide.
As of July 2022 Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics took 6th place among Ukrainian universities. In July 2020 KNURE was ranked 7th and in July 2021 it was ranked 9th.
In the world ranking we ranked 2307th, in Europe – 806th. Among Kharkov HEIs we take the 2nd place after V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University.
According to the Excellence indicator, which shows the number of articles published by university authors in journals indexed by Scopus, and includes up to 10% of articles most cited in 27 scientific fields, according to Scimago for 2017-2021 – 7th place.
In terms of Openness – the number of citations of the top 210 authors (except the top 20) according to the Google Scholar search engine – 11th place among Ukrainian HEAs.
In terms of Impact – the combination of the number of external citations to the domain of the University and the number of domains from which these citations come according to Ahrefs and Majestic – 17th place.
In spite of difficult conditions, we continue to try to keep the image of the University at a decent level!
