Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science Andrei Erokhin and Associate Professor of Software Engineering Alexey Turuta took part in the preparing of materials for NURE’s entry to the ECS Collaboration Tool Program, which is organized by the ECSEL initiative https://ecscollaborationtool.eu/ at the initiative of the Rector of NURE Valerii Semenets.
At January 15-16, 2019, Andrei Erokhin joined the work of the International Exhibition ECS Brokerage Event 2019 in the city of Brussels (Belgium), where proposals for the preparation of new scientific projects for presentation for funding were formed based on the results of the meeting of the working group.
As a part of the project, NURE received the new opportunities for finding and selecting partners from Europe to create an association and jointly submit applications for funding in the special environment of the ECS Collaboration Tool, where Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics became the first representative of Ukraine in the association.
Thus, NURE gained access to the European database of projects submitted for funding under the programs of the organization Electronic Components and Systems for European Leadership (ECSEL), https://www.ecsel.eu/, which C is the Manager of the Horizon 2020 program funds
ECSE is based on European associations: AENEAS (Association for European Nano Electronics ActivitieS), ARTEMIS-IA (Advanced Research & Technology for EMbedded Intelligent Systems), EPoSS (European Technology Platform on Smart Systems Integration).
The participating organizations of these associations work in the similar with NURE spheres related to the introduction of methods and means of artificial intelligence, machine learning and the Internet of things in telecommunications, factories of the future, transport, medicine and nanotechnology.
As a result of a working meeting with partners, it is planned to apply for grants under the Horizon 2020 program.
